Invitation of Expression of Interest for licensing of Intellectual Property owned by CDFD

The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an autonomous institute supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, that uniquely blends a high-quality service facility in DNA profiling and diagnostics with basic research in the frontier areas of modern biology. Based on the research activities undertaken by its faculty, the CDFD is the assignee for the following issued/pending patents on inventions that are all backed by publications in international peer-reviewed journals (please click on the links provided for more details):

1	Novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in tuberculosis
2	Method for increased yields of plasmid DNA (for use in DNA vaccines)
3	Microbial process for arginine production
4	Novel methods of genotyping diverse genomes including rice varieties
5	Superior quality mulberry silkworm hybrids

The CDFD invites letters from companies/organizations of repute indicating expression of interest (addressed to the Director, CDFD at the above address, or by e-mail at director<at>cdfd.org.in, and marked Attn: G B Srinivas, Patent Cell Co-ordinator) in the commercial exploitation of any one or all of these inventions.
