has setup the Metabolomics Science website to provide the metabolomics community,
a useful platformon the history of metabolism and general information on analytical tools
as well as bioinformatics software.
Databases Developed
METLIN: Metabolite and Tandem MS Database
The METLIN Metabolite Database is a repository
of metabolite information as well as tandem mass spectrometry data. Its a metabolomics database
containign over 64,000 structures.
isoMETLIN: Isotope Metabolite MS Database
isoMETLIN An isotopes based metabolite database used to facilitate identification of metabolites incorporating isotope labels. The database consists of isotopologues derived from METLIN and the experimental MS/MS data on isotopomers. The database helps in identification of isotopologues as well as isotopomers and facilitates the next-generation isotopes-based metabolomics studies.
